1. The Salesman (Iran)
2. Toni Erdmann (Germany)
3. A Man Called Ove (Sweden)
4. Land of Mine (Denmark)
5. Tanna (Australia)

Toni Erdmann is the clear critical favorite, but previous winner Asghar Farhadi's The Salesman has the current buzz (especially after Farhadi announced he would not be attending the ceremony due to Trump's travel ban).

BEST ANIMATED FEATURE

Zootopia

1. Zootopia
2. Kubo & the Two Strings
3. Moana
4. The Red Turtle
5. My Life as a Zucchini

Disney's Zootopia is probably unbeatable given its critical praises, a billion dollars in box office receipts, and its topicality, but look out for Kubo if there's to be a spoiler.

BEST DOCUMENTARY FEATURE

1. O.J.: Made in America
2. 13th
3. I Am Not Your Negro
4. Life, Animated
5. Fire at Sea

Documentary continues to be one of the strongest categories overall at the Oscars, and this year is no exception. Any of these five could take it, but O.J. (despite very clearly being a miniseries meant for television) has dominated the season so entirely it would be a surprise to see it lose.
